The One Championship is a mixed martial arts (MMA) organization founded in 2012 by former UFC champion Mark Hunt. The company has held events worldwide and will come to the United States in 2023.
Who Leads One Championship?
The One Championship is currently led by CEO Chatri Sityodtong, who also serves as its president. He is joined by his brother Yodsanklai Fairtex, who serves as vice president. The two brothers were born in Bangkok, Thailand, where they grew up with their father, Yodsaenghathai “The Little Giant” Fairtex, who is the founder of ONE Fighting Championships. Their mother is a Thai national.
Is One Championship Growing?
The One Championship has been snowballing since its launch in 2013. In 2016 alone, the company signed more than 1,000 new fighters. They have also expanded into other countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
